Entrance Exam (APCAT)
Wednesday, May 7 | 8am – 12 Noon
Faith & Life Classroom F1-315, Augustana Campus, 4901 46 Ave , Camrose AB.
Exam details: The Alberta Police Cognitive Ability Test (APCAT) is a job-related written exam of approximately 3 hours in duration. The test consists of 120 multiple choice questions, and the passing grade is 84 out of 120 (70%)/ There is no limit to the number of attempts. Minimum wait periods after a failed attempt are as follows:
- 1st failed attempt – Applicant must wait 1 month before re-writing,
- 2nd failed attempt – Applicant must wait 3 months before re-writing,
- 3rd failed attempt – Applicant must wait 6 months before re-writing, and for all future attempts
If you are successful, the APCAT results are valid for 5 years. Exam Resources: Visit our website for the APCAT Exam here, and under the ‘study resources’ section, enter your email for an automatic resource package, complete with text exams and answer key.
