If you’re interested in applying, hoping to speak with an EPS recruiter in person or have questions about the application process, we recommend you attend a free Information Session.
These welcoming, non-judgemental sessions are built to help you understand the requirements and expectations of pursuing a policing career with the EPS. Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- Benefits and career opportunities of joining the EPS
- Requirements for becoming a police officer
- A detailed overview of the 8-stage application process
- Training overview and what to expect if you’re hired
You don’t need a policing background to become a member of the Edmonton Police Service. Every year we hire people from a wide variety of educational, geographical, and cultural backgrounds. The one quality our recruits all have in common is the desire to serve the citizens of Edmonton.
