Craig Hunt

Constable

Constable Craig Hunt has over thirteen years of policing experience with the EPS. Beginning his career in SW Patrol, then in the Recruit Training Unit for five years, then West Division Beats before moving into a role in the Recruitment Office.

“I think the thing I enjoy the most about working for EPS is the diversity and uniqueness of different calls for service that we attend. The things I have seen and done over my short career are far beyond anything my imagination could have drawn up if I hadn’t been there and lived it myself” says Craig.

Craig offers the following for those considering a police career: “I always came back to the simple advice of believing in yourself and being confident in you. Be confident in yourself, your abilities, and most importantly be confident in knowing that you are the type of person that EPS needs. There is no “mold” for a successful police officer. We are most successful when we are made up of a diverse group of people offering different skills, perspectives, and personalities.”

When Craig is off duty, he’s a busy family man with his wife and three daughters. He’s also a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan!
